Rosanna Arquette’s Husband Files For Divorce After 8 Years Of Marriage
Rosanna Arquette's husband, Todd Morgan, has filed for divorce from the actress after 8 years of marriage.
According to legal documents, obtained by The Blast, the founder and chairman of Bel Air Investment Advisors filed for dissolution of marriage in the Los Angeles County Courts.
The 'Pulp Fiction' actress and Morgan married in August of 2013, in a private family ceremony in LA. At the time, a spokesperson for the famous actress said, "Rosanna Arquette and Todd Morgan were married in a private family ceremony in Malibu. Todd Morgan is the founder and chairman of Bel Air Investment Advisors and a philanthropist. Arquette has recently been seen in 'Girls' and 'Ray Donovan.' She is directing her first feature and has 3 TV shows in development. They are very happy."
Rosanna Arquette's Husband Says The Couple Officially Split On New Year's Day
The actress, whose famous siblings include David, Patricia, and Alexis Arquette, got engaged in June 2011, and a source said, "She's completely in love and had no hesitation in accepting, Rosanna is, at the heart of it, a real romantic."
This will be the actress's fourth divorce after she was married to and split with director Tony Greco, composer James Newton Howard, and restaurateur John Sidel.
The couple has no minor children, so custody will not be an issue.
'Pulp Fiction' Star Rosanna Arquette & Husband Have Iron-Clad Prenuptial Agreement
In the filing, Todd claims the couple separated on January 1, 2022, and were married for exactly 8 years and 4 months. Todd is asking the court to terminate its own ability to order spousal support to either party based on a prenuptial agreement. Our guess is the couple has an iron-clad prenuptial agreement, considering they both entered the relationship very wealthy and with their own assets. It's unclear exactly what broke up the marriage.
"The community property assets and debts of the community, if any, should be divided pursuant to the terms of the parties' prenuptial agreement," the document states. Adding, "Attorneys' fees and costs are payable pursuant to the terms."
Interestingly, Arquette opened up in 2012 about difficulty with balancing work and personal life. "I think, for me, it's been quite a challenge to have both. I was in a relationship for a few years and didn't work for a few years, and now I'm starting to go back to work and I am in a relationship. It's always about accepting the other person -- who they are and what they do. I love to work and I love my partnership, but I really do need both. If I'm only focusing on one, then I'm not a whole person," she said.
At this point, the couple hasn't formally addressed the split, and Rosanna hasn't responded to the legal filings.
