Roseanne Barr says she was the 'victim of a prank' and didn't have a heart attack
Roseanne Conner may have met an untimely end, but Roseanne Barr is still kicking.
The one-time star of Roseanne took to Twitter on Sunday to tell her followers that she is alive and well despite a bad rumor that she had a heart attack. For good measure, she shared a bizarre photo of herself taken over the Thanksgiving holiday.

Barr said the chatter that her ticker was faulty was merely a “prank.” She has “no medical issues.” She’s just been spending time at home, in Hawaii, with her family for the holiday.

In the accompanying photo, Barr is wearing a T-shirt with an image of a woman’s body in a corset on it, with cleavage, and there’s an anchor tattoo on the chest. She paired it with patterned stretch pants.
Twitter hated the lame prank but appreciated the comedian’s shirt.

Many of the other comments were from fans still angry she was fired from Roseanne.
As you may recall, Barr was axed by ABC in May after posting a racist tweet about Obama aide Valerie Jarrett. While she later apologized (mostly), her successful Roseanne reboot was canceled. After reaching a deal with the network, a spinoff of the series, The Conners, debuted in October, and her character was infamously killed off as a result of an opioid overdose.
The night the show aired, Barr tweeted, “I ain’t dead, bitches,” but later deleted it and released a statement along with her mentor Rabbi Shmuley Boteach, saying, “That [the character’s death] was done through an opioid overdose lent an unnecessary grim and morbid dimension to an otherwise happy family show. This was a choice the network did not have to make.”
