It's Round 2 of the Pizza Playoff! Vote for your favorite pizzeria at the Jersey Shore
Have you been voting? Because our search for the Shore's best pizza has begun.
We brought together 14 of our favorite pizzerias for our Pizza Playoff bracket, then invited readers to decide on the final two: Those spots went to Pasquale's Pizzeria in Wall and Anchor Inn in Ocean Gate. Then voting began, and now we are down to eight contenders
While we're eager to continue to the next round, we do have to acknowledge some unexpected poll results in round one. It is evident that along with thousands of Jersey Shore pizza lovers, bots may have entered the playing field, skewing the results. To circumvent this in the future, we are adding Captcha to the voting process. This will require voters to enter a series of characters to deter bots from skewing the results. We'll also be monitoring the polls and may decide to suspend the vote.
You can vote in the next round of the Pizza Playoff through 11:59 p.m. Friday, March 8. Votes are limited to one per day. Be sure to get your friends and family to vote for your favorite by sharing the matchups on social media with #PizzaPlayoff. The Round 1 results appear after the polls.
