Royal Children Steal the Show at Trooping the Colour as Prince Louis Adorably Dances to Parade Music

Royal fans were thrilled when Kate Middleton announced she would attended Trooping the Colour after six months away from the spotlight amid her cancer battle. However, the royal children once again stole the show at the annual event.

On Saturday, June 15, the parade honoring the birthday of the reigning British monarch, King Charles II, kicked off at Buckingham Palace. It traveled along The Mall to Horse Guards Parade before returning to the palace.

Middleton rode in a carriage with her three children, Prince George, who turns 11 next month, Princess Charlotte, 9, and Prince Louis, 6. Meanwhile, her husband, Prince William, 41, rode on horseback in uniform during the Trooping of Colour.

As Louis watched the processional from a balcony with his mother and siblings, the young royal was caught on video adorably dancing to the music. In the comments of a clip shared via X, royal fans reacted to the playful moment, with one person writing, "lol this kid is too cute!!"

Another X user commented, "Great to see Prince Louis being his usual happy self!! Love him to bits!"

Someone else declared, "Prince Louie is a force to be reckoned with."

After the parade, senior members of the royal family then gathered on Buckingham Palace's balcony for the 41-gun salute in Green Park and watched the Royal Air Force flyover.

Of course, King Charles, 75, stood front and center alongside his wife, Queen Camilla, 76. Prince William stood as Middleton, 42, sat in a chair and their kids looked on from nearby, too.

As the royal children stood together on the balcony, royal fans couldn't help but hone in on the kids. Prince Louis seemed particularly excited about the flyover as he craned his neck to see the aircraft.

Other royals in attendance included Princess Anne, 73, and her husband, Vice Admiral Sir Timothy Laurence, 69, and Prince Edward, 60, and Sophie, Duchess of Edinburgh, 59. Prince Edward's daughter, Lady Louise Windsor, 20, was spotted, too.
