The Rubens Announce Regional Queensland Tour Dates
The Rubens are hitting the road for a big regional tour this Autumn and keeping the GPS locked on Queensland. The Menangle indie rock icons have announced the Black Balloon Queensland Tour, which will see them visit nine stages across the length and breadth of the sunshine state this May.
The five-piece’s itinerary will take them to Port Douglas, Townsville, Airlie Beach, Bundaberg, Rockhampton, Mackay, Toowoomba, Birtinya and D’Aguilar, in addition to a couple of festival dates south of the border in the NSW suburbs of Armidale (The Big Chill Festival) and Gerringong (Winter Wine Festival).
The Rubens – ‘Liquid Gold’
Sunshine coast four-piece Betty Taylor will be warming up the stage for The Rubens at all of these headline dates, bar Port Douglas.
Back in February, The Rubens gave fans their first taste of new music for 2024 in the form of ‘Liquid Gold’ (listen above), setting the stage for a huge year of music ahead.
