'Rumors are crazy': Alabama football coach Kalen DeBoer debunks fake report about 'third child'

Kalen DeBoer said he received many recent congratulatory text messages in recent weeks. But they were not about Alabama football.

On Wednesday's "Hey Coach" radio show, popular caller PeeWee congratulated DeBoer about "a third child" he had with his wife, Nicole, which had been a recent fake Facebook rumor. DeBoer cut the caller off, and set the record straight.

"PeeWee, I hate to burst your bubble on that one," DeBoer said. "But that's something that happened with a lot of people, not just me. Rumors are crazy. The only reason why I know is because I got a lot of text messages saying congratulations.

"You can't believe any of that stuff."

DeBoer has two daughters, Alexis and Avery.

Alabama will face LSU at 6:30 p.m. CT Saturday.
