Sabrina Carpenter Embraces Lingerie-inspired Details in Custom Patou Bodysuit for ‘Short n’ Sweet Tour’ in New York
Sabrina Carpenter brought her “Short n’ Sweet Tour” to New York on Sunday, where she performed a sold-out show at Madison Square Garden.
Onstage, she wore a custom lace bodysuit by Patou, embellished with crystals and a small bow. A pair of matching opera-length gloves and black bedazzled mary janes completed Carpenter’s lingerie-inspired ensemble.

The singer works with stylist Jared Ellner, who also counts Emma Chamberlain, Rachel Sennott and Molly Gordon of “The Bear” as clients.
Carpenter’s “Short n’ Sweet Tour” will travel across Europe and North America through March 2025. Her album of the same name, which features her hit singles “Espresso” and “Please Please Please,” is now officially certified platinum.
Earlier this month, WWD exclusively announced that Carpenter was named Redken’s very first celebrity brand ambassador.
“Beauty, and especially my hair, is a big part of my identity,” she said in statement. “I’ve always dreamed of partnering with a hair brand and waited to find the right partner. It’s been the secret to keeping my hair looking its best and I can’t wait to share what we’ve been working on together.”
Patou’s spring 2025 collection debuted during Paris Fashion Week in June. Creative director Guillaume Henry staged a show in the city’s Latin Quarter. Per WWD’s Joelle Diderich, his latest collection evoked retro silhouettes worn by actresses such as Stéphane Audran and Delphine Seyrig.
“As a kid, I didn’t grow up with fashion magazines. I grew up with film characters,” Henry said backstage. “Like a director choosing his actresses, I wanted to celebrate selfishly the women who inspire me.”
