Sabrina Carpenter Put Kevin Bacon in Her New Song. His Reaction on FaceTime with His Daughter Is Perfect

Sabrina Carpenter, FaceTime call between Kevin Bacon and Sosie BaconSosie Bacon is keeping her famous father, Kevin Bacon, up to date with what's hot in music.
On Friday, Sept. 6, the actor, 66, shared a hilarious clip of the moment his daughter, 32, revealed that Sabrina Carpenter's new single "Taste" seemingly references "Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon," a game that challenges people to connect actors to Bacon in six film connections or less.
The reveal, which occurred on FaceTime, was shared on Kevin's Instagram account on Friday, Sept. 6.
The video of the call begins with Sosie smiling from ear to ear as her dad picks up the phone.
"I'm just hanging out, but I wanted to tell you congratulations on your newest accomplishment," she tells him, causing him to pause and say, "Now I'm nervous."
"Sabrina Carpenter, one of the biggest pop stars in the world, has mentioned you in a song," Sosie explains, causing her father to be in disbelief.
"Really? What? No. What's the name?" he asks. After Sosie tells him she's referring to the song "Taste," Kevin admits that he's unfamiliar with the tune.

His daughter plays the section of the track in which Carpenter, 25, sings, "You're wonderin' why half his clothes went missin' / My body's where they're at / Now I'm gone, but you're still layin' /Next to me, one degree of separation."
Kevin immediately laughs and says, "OK, Sabrina Carpenter, one degree of separation."

"You're going to be big with the girlies now. I'm happy for you," Sosie later adds, causing Kevin to jokingly say before the call ends, "Well, she clearly has taste. See what I did?"

"Taste" is a song off Carpenter's sixth studio album, Short n' Sweet, which debuted at the top the Billboard 200 chart after its release on Aug. 23.
