Sadie Sink Opens Up About Stepping Away From Taylor Swift’s ‘All Too Well’
Sadie Sink has shared why she has decided to move on from Taylor Swift’s song ‘All Too Well.’ The 22-year-old Stranger Things actress starred in the extended music video for the 10-minute version of the 2011 hit, which Taylor released in 2021 as part of her Red (Taylor’s Version) album.
The video, which features Sink as a heartbroken woman and Dylan O’Brien as her partner, brought up some challenging emotions for the young actress. Speaking to Variety, Sink admitted, “At that point, I had never been in love. I had never been through a breakup that intense. It was all foreign territory for me. I had to rely on just my years of research as a Swiftie.”

As she delved into the role, Sink found that personal experiences started to surface, prompting her to reflect on her own life. “Things from my personal life kind of came forward, which fueled it even more. Then I was like, ‘Whoa. Maybe I should do some work on Sadie in these areas,'” she said.
Sink confirmed to Variety that she has removed “All Too Well” from her “wind down song” rotation. She explained that the song now holds a “physically intense” nostalgic feeling for her. The music video received widespread acclaim, including MTV VMA and Grammy awards.
