Sam Rockwell Drops F-Bomb on Saturday Night Live — Watch Video

Saturday Night Live‘s latest PBS spoof was definitely brought to you by the letter F.

VIDEOSSNL Highlights: Mark Wahlberg Takedown, E! Mocked for Gender Pay Gap and More

The show’s Jan. 13 episode found host Sam Rockwell playing Mr. Science in a “classic” episode of the PBS series The Science Room With Mr. Science opposite Cecily Strong and Mikey Day as a pair of obnoxious children — so obnoxious, in fact, that they pushed Rockwell to commit the ultimate SNL faux pas: dropping the ol’ F-bomb.

As you can see in the clip below, Rockwell became a little flummoxed and yelled, “You can’t be this f–ing stupid!” He immediately realized his goof, as did Strong and Day, who played along nicely:

According to viewers tweeting during the broadcast, Rockwell’s mistake was bleeped on the West Coast but made its way past the censors for East Coast viewers to enjoy.

Of course, Rockwell’s slip-up does put him in good company; Kristen Stewart accidentally let one loose during her monologue last February, calling the whole experience “the coolest f–ing thing ever.”
