Samantha Hanratty Surprises “Yellowjackets ”Castmates with Pregnancy News in Adorable Video: 'A Crazy Ride'

Samantha Hanratty is sharing her exciting pregnancy news with the Yellowjackets cast.
On Monday, Aug. 26, the actress, 28, posted a funny and heartwarming TikTok video in which she revealed that she's expecting her first baby with husband Christian DeAnda to each of her castmates. From handing over her positive pregnancy test to making sure "all three of us" were visible to the camera, Hanratty got creative as she surprised the cast and crew.
"It's our first day back on Yellowjackets and I'm about to go tell everybody that I'm pregnant!" the soon-to-be mom quietly stated at the start of the video.

One by one, Hanratty secretly filmed her castmates as she shared the exciting news, capturing the incredible gasps, screams, and well-wishes she received from her peers.
"I was single when we filmed the pilot, dating during season one, engaged during season 2, and now married and pregnant during season 3!" she shared in her caption, adding, "It's been a crazy ride."
The Yellowjackets star initially announced her pregnancy to her fans in an emotional Instagram video on Monday, Aug. 12. In the video, Hanratty showed off a shopping bag full of pregnancy tests, joking, “This is silly, I should not even be doing this.”
She first took a pregnancy test and found out it was negative. “I said I wasn’t gonna get my hopes up," she told her fans. The actress added that she “could still be pregnant and should try again next week.”

Hanratty added through tears that she would take another one the following week. In the next segment of the video, the actress reacted to what appeared to be a positive pregnancy test. At first, she was in shock and repeatedly said "no way" and showed the camera the test results.
The video concluded with a glimpse at the sonogram of Hanratty's baby on the way.
"Still in shock and its been 4 months!" she wrote beneath the video. "I will be sharing more from my journey because it has been a wild one! Come follow this new adventure ??????."
