Santigold Announces New Shows After Canceling Entire Tour in 2022
Fans of Santigold will finally be able to catch the star in concert.
On Tuesday, the musician announced that she’ll be hitting the road for several spaced-out shows through June, August, and October this year after she canceled her Holified Tour in 2022, citing artist welfare and the mental-health and economic challenges plaguing those who make music for a living.

The new run of shows includes appearances at Redondo Beach’s Beachlife Festival in May and Seattle Pride in June. She’ll also stop at New York’s Terminal 5 and Toronto’s Rebel in August, before resuming her tour in October with shows in Portland and Vancouver.

The tour is her first since dropping her 10-track LP Spirituals, which features “My Horror,” “Shake,” and “High Priestess.” Several weeks after dropping the album and announcing a tour, the singer canceled her entire run of shows. In an interview with Rolling Stone in 2022, she discussed how unsustainable it has been for musicians to make a living with the current music business model, where artists are burning out, and touring can cost them more than they can bring in.
“I don’t know any other job that you have to pay to do your job and end up in debt,” she said. “That’s telling all these new generations of brilliant, amazing potential artists: Don’t choose this job. And they won’t, and we’re going to lose out culturally from that.”
