Sarah Jessica Parker Brings Ladylike Glamour to Met Gala 2024 in Richard Quinn Caged Dress
Sarah Jessica Parker’s approach to the 2024 Met Gala‘s theme, “The Garden of Time,” found inspiration in British fashion. On Monday, the actress donned a caged dress from Richard Quinn to attend the event at the Metropolitan Museum in New York City.
Parker’s ensemble was from Quinn’s spring 2024 ready-to-wear collection, which was dedicated to the designer’s father, Patrick Quinn, who died last year. The fashion show, hosted in September during London Fashion Week, included “a procession of ethereal cocktail dresses and evening gowns glittering with Swarovski crystals,” WWD previously reported. “Many came with stiff, caged skirts that emulated the shape of the glass cupola, which dominated the room.”

For accessories, Parker wore a Philip Treacy headpiece, a clutch bag from Benedetta Bruzziches, jewelry from Briony Raymond, Marlo Laz, Beads of Paradise and Gray & Davis.
Parker’s hair was styled by Serge Normant and her makeup was done by Elaine Offers Woulard.
On the red carpet, Parker posed with her longtime friend Andy Cohen.
