Sarah Paulson took inspiration from the runway for her recent promotional tour look for her new film “Hold Your Breath.” The Emmy winner stopped by “Good Morning America” on Thursday in New York City and teased a potential return to “American Horror Story.”

For her outing, Paulson opted for a selection from Bottega Veneta’s spring 2024 ready-to-wear collection. The actress’ midi dress featured a vibrant orange-red hue with contrasting taupe.

Paulson’s look made its runway debut during Milan Fashion Week in September 2023. The collection, from creative director Matthieu Blazy, included feather-like fringe elements throughout, as reported by WWD’s Miles Socha.

“During the preview, he picked up several photos of runway looks and turned them upside down, demonstrating how his fringed leather tops and cocoon coats resemble cacti, or exotic flowers in full bloom,” Socha wrote in his review.

“About two thirds of the way through the show came feather-like fringe treatments on bubble-shaped skirts and bustier dresses that made one think of exotic birds.”

Blazy was appointed to the role of creative director for Bottega Veneta in November 2021. The Italian luxury fashion house, based in Milan, recently showcased its spring 2025 collection during Milan Fashion Week last September.

Along with Paulson, other celebrities who previously wore Bottega Veneta designs include Julianne Moore, who wore a dress from the Italian luxury fashion house at the 2024 Venice Film Festival, and Zendaya, among others.
