Savannah Guthrie Adorably Switches Into 'Mom Mode' While Son Visits 'Today' Set

Savannah Guthrie's day was made on Thursday, June 13, when her son Charley showed up for a little surprise visit on the Today show set.

The co-anchor's 7-year-old son—whom she shares with husband Michael Feldman—celebrated school finally being out by visiting his mom at work, and the interaction was as sweet as could be.

As seen in footage shared to Instagram on Thursday, Savannah 52, could be seen getting the surprise of a lifetime as her son showed up in Studio 1A, and ran straight into his mom's arms.

Savannah was working alongside her Today show co-hosts, including Hoda Kotb and Craig Melvin, when she got up from her chair to embrace Charley, who looked ecstatic to be visiting his mom at work.

In more clips from throughout the day, Charley could be seen taking a seat at the anchor desk and playing catch with some of the other Today show personalities.

"The best surprise!" Savannah, who is also a mom to 9-year-old daughter Vale, was quoted saying, while the Today show Instagram account called Charley's surprise visit "the sweetest morning!"

The Mostly What God Does author also shared some memories from the her son's visit to her own Instagram page, where she wrote, "made my day ??."

"Pure happiness ??" one of her followers commented underneath Thursday's post, while someone else said, "This post made my day!! ????"

"You can really see how this made your day!" someone else celebrated in the comments.
