Savannah Guthrie's 'Today' Absence Continues as She Gives Glimpse at Time Off

Savannah Guthrie remains absent from the set of Today as she and her family enjoy some well-deserved time off to celebrate their eldest child's birthday privately.

The family of four is seemingly off on vacation—though it's unclear if they've traveled or are enjoying a staycation at home—and the TV personality offered fans a brief glimpse into their time as a family in a series of new family photos uploaded to Instagram on Friday, Aug. 16.

"this is 10!" she captioned the sweet carousel, referencing her daughter Vale's 10th birthday, which was featured in the very first snapshot showing the young girl sitting at an outdoor table smiling brightly over a white birthday cake frosted with purple accents and blue wording.

Next up was a photo of Vale hugging her "girl dad" Michael Feldman from behind, the two both grinning at the camera, followed by a photo of the proud parents with both of their kids, Vale and 7-year-old son Charley.

The final photo focused on Vale again, with her mouth open in a wide, excited smile as she leaned over to blow out her candles.

Vale celebrated her actual birthday on Aug. 13, which Guthrie marked with another  sweet series of photos on Instagram to honor "Ten years of this magical girl," whom she called "my whole heart and soul."

Funnily enough, her colleague Jenna Bush Hager's daughter Poppy shares a birthday with Vale, turning 9 years old on the same day.

It's unknown when the co-anchor plans to return to the morning program, but they're holding down the fort just fine without her!
