ScHoolboy Q Announces ‘Blank Face World Tour’
For fans, it felt like far too long as they anxiously awaited the follow-up to ScHoolboy Q’s 2014 album Oxymoron. Once he had the ball rolling, though, ScHoolboy quickly made up for lost time, releasing Blank Face itself, sharing the accompanying visuals for the album, and appearing in a number of interviews to give further context to Blank Face. Now, he’s announced the Blank Face World Tour.
Kicking things off on August 30 in Indianapolis, he’ll then be the rest of North America, Australia, and Europe. The Blank Face World Tour will wrap up in Birmingham, UK on December 15.
Joey Bada$$, who made his primetime TV debut on the season premiere of Mr. Robot last week, will be joining ScHoolboy on the road for the North American portion of the tour in support of Joey’s recently released new single, “Devastated.”
ScHoolboy Q’s short film, which was released as a trilogy, follows a dark and harrowing narrative that concludes in a depressing and dramatic fashion. Revisit the videos for “By Any Means,” “Tookie Knows II,” and “Black THoughts.”.
