Scott Foley Barely Survives Shopping for Thanksgiving Dinner With His Wife
Thanksgiving is a fun, familycentric, and tasty holiday, but anybody who ever had to cook or host on turkey day knows how much preparation goes into it. On Tuesday, Scott Foley went to six stores with his wife, Marika Domińczyk, to pick up ingredients for their menu. The Scandal star documented the whole exhausting ordeal — crazy faces and all.
Two minutes into their first stop — at Trader Joe’s — the TV star, 44, knew the adventure was going to be Instagramworthy. “We’re not 2 minutes in to our first grocery stop (3 stops have been called for but I’m betting on 5) and I’m already doubting this cart can handle us,” he wrote, along with a pic of cranberries, sweet potatoes, pineapples, onions, and other produce.

That was followed by his first crazy face.

Apparently the supermarket let them down with its shallot offerings.

But it had meat sticks! And having meat sticks was apparently a good thing.
Meat sticks. WTF!? No one needs these ever.

Store No. 2 called for another crazy face, but the Grey’s Anatomy actress missed it because she was on a mission. Look at her go.
New store. Same mission. #missionmanic

It was a relative success as far as sour cream, butter, and canned cranberry sauce go. Not everybody likes fresh cranberry sauce, you know.
Stage 2 completed! I love Apple Pay.

On the way to the third store, Foley, a father of three, made his third crazy face. “Buckle up peeps, stage 3 is almost upon us,” he wrote.

His wife is a very good sport, because he got her Candid Camera-style — and she didn’t even hit him with her list.
In it! She's in it peeps!! #stage3

She seemed less excited about her “pusher” husband here. (He noted that he is “but a pusher. This cart and I are witness to madness.”)

As predicted, there was yet another stop. In the video, Marika noted, “He’s the one who rushes everything, by the way.” We believe her.

Crazy face No. 4 at location No. 4. They were on the hunt for peanut oil.
There's always that one item… she's on the phone looking for it! Stage 4 #peanutoil

And, also as predicted, there was a fifth stop. “Stage 5!! Of 3!! People!!!” he wrote with another crazy face.

He also used a creeper video selfie to catch her looking for those tiny spoons. “I no longer exist,” he noted.

Another last-minute addition was a trip to “Walmart, people.” By then he had mostly given up.

But his crazy face game was still strong.

At least she bought a magazine that had Scott featured inside. He joked, “Always buying sh** she don’t need,” adding, “Please let it be over.” Yes, another crazy face.
Always buying shit she don't need. #stage6. Please let it be over.

Luckily, he survived the day, but it apparently wasn’t the end of the saga. On Wednesday, it seemed to start all over again.
It just doesn't stop! #stage1 #day2 @themeanchick

Yes, they were back at it. “It just doesn’t stop!” he wrote, adding, “#stage1 #day2.”
Well, we hope that the pair, who tied the knot in 2007, find every last thing she was looking for and have a wonderful Thanksgiving celebration. And if they forgot anything really important, disappointing their guests, may we suggest that Scott make it up to them by doing a lot of crazy faces. They’re highly entertaining.
