Kenyon initially began his career at Innovative Artists in 2008 as the assistant to Maury DiMauro, vp and head of the agency’s strategic marketing and endorsements department. He was later promoted to agent and spent the next 14 years working in the New York office before eventually relocating to the West Coast office, and his hometown of Los Angeles, in 2022.

Innovative Artists said Kenyon was a “rare combination of an entertainment professional who moved effortlessly from the professional worlds of fashion and beauty brands to his recreational pursuits on the volleyball court and golf course.” The agency added that he had “amassed a client list and reputation for having a level of taste and integrity that made him much admired across his industry.”

“Scott Kenyon has been a treasured friend and beloved colleague since he began working with us when he was 23 years old, and over these sixteen years, he has become a brother, son, and mentor to all of us at Innovative,” DiMauro and president Scott Harris said in a joint statement. “With broken hearts we send our condolences to his wife, children, parents, sister, and family on their unfathomable loss, along with our profound gratitude for their generosity in letting him be a part of our family for so many years.”

Kenyon is survived by his wife, Lauren, and their two children, Tyler and Crosby.

A memorial fund for Kenyon has been established on GoFundMe.
