Scottish Chamber Orchestra performs at Goshen College

GOSHEN — The Scottish Chamber Orchestra performs at 7:30 p.m. Oct. 19 at the Goshen College Music Center.

Scottish violinist Nicola Benedetti joins the orchestra for its 10-day tour of the U.S. to perform Bruch’s Violin Concerto No. 1 in G minor, Op. 26.

The orchestra also performs Anna Clyne’s Beethoven-inspired “Stride” and Mendelssohn’s Symphony No. 3 in A minor, “Scottish.”

Tickets are $45-$30.

The SCO’s new principal conductor, Maxim Emelyanychev, conducts.
