Sea Hear Now set times announced for Bruce Springsteen, E Street Band in Asbury Park

Three hours on the beach with the Boss and the E Street Band.

Set times for the upcoming Sea Hear Now festival, Sept. 14 and 15 in Asbury Park, were released on Thursday, Aug. 8, and they include a 7:30 to 10:30 p.m. time for Bruce Springsteen on Sunday, Sept. 15, on the festival's Surf Stage, located on the city's North Beach.

The stage faces south and the ocean will be on the band's left side, and the boardwalk will be on the right. Three hours is pretty much the standard running time of the E Street Band sets on the current tour.

The Trey Anastasio Band (5:25 p.m. start) and Kool and the Gang (3:25 p.m.) precede the E Street Band Sunday on the Surf stage. The Gaslight Anthem play 6:25 to 7:25 p.m. Sunday on the Park Stage, located in Bradley Park, a walk across Ocean Avenue from the Surf Stage inside the festival grounds.

Noah Kahan headlines the Saturday, Sept. 14, lineup with a 9 to 10:30 p.m. set on the Surf Stage.

Springsteen appeared unannounced at the inaugural Sea Hear Now in 2018 with Social Distortion, but performances with the E Street Band in Asbury Park have been rare.

The last one was in 2010 at the Carousel House on the boardwalk to record the “Songs from the Promise” video and “Live from the Carousel” EP.
