Sean Hannity Defends Megyn Kelly's Interview with Alex Jones
On Monday, Sean Hannity defended Megyn Kelly and her interview with conspiracy theorist Alex Jones but managed to also criticize NBC. Hannity called NBC’s coverage “highly edited” and asked for the unedited version to be released online.
Hannity said, “I’m a little sick and tired of the mainstream media … editing interviews to fit a predetermined narrative. Again, I’m not saying that Megyn Kelly did this. As a matter of fact, I know she didn’t.”
Kelly and NBC drew sharp criticism for interviewing Jones, who has claimed the Sandy Hook shooting, in which 20 children and six adults were killed, was a hoax.
The Fox News host also said, “I am in no way, as some on social media have suggested, being critical of my colleague and somebody who I’ve been friends with, Megyn Kelly.”
