Searchlight Pictures is celebrating a milestone anniversary with … T-shirts!

The studio, which is marking the moment with a variety of initiatives and partners from Ore-Ida and Warby Parker to Hitching Post Winery, has teamed up once again with buzzy Los Angeles brand Hiro Clark to honor its 30th year in business. (The two previously partnered on “Hello Stranger” shirts after the success of the critically acclaimed All of Us Strangers from Andrew Haigh.)

In doing so, Hiro Clark is offering a limited-edition collection of tees, five in total, that retail for $98 apiece in multiple color options. Here’s the part cinephiles need to know: The line of five honors Searchlight’s beloved films including Tamara Jenkins’ 1998 movie Slums of Beverly Hills, Kimberly Peirce’s 1999 film Boys Don’t Cry, Jared Hess’s 2004 film Napoleon Dynamite, Jonathan Dayton and Valerie Faris’ 2006 film Little Miss Sunshine, and Scott Cooper’s 2009 film Crazy Heart.

“Get your popcorn ready,” shared brand founder Andy Salzer on Instagram this week when the collab dropped. “So stoked for our new Searchlight Pictures Hiro Clark project.”

The options are all short-sleeved classic tees that, per Hiro Clark, are “made from the highest quality 100 percent slub cotton jersey, a specialized cotton that is lightly twisted as the fabric is woven.” The “ultra soft” tees all feature a relaxed crew neck and fit true to size.

Hiro Clark, coming off a sporty summer thanks to an official Olympics collaboration that debuted in recent months to promote LA28, has plenty of Hollywood-focused options on offer including shirts that say things like “Leading Man,” “Stunt Double,” “Rough Cut,” “”Based on a True Story,” “The Talent,” “On Location” and more. It all makes sense for a brand born and based in L.A. Hiro Clark also maintains a brick-and-mortar store at 677 North Berendo St. in downtown L.A., where its wares (tees, shorts, caps, sweatshirts, sweatpants, bags, socks and bandanas) are on the racks.

For Searchlight, the studio’s 30th anniversary is being celebrated in a variety of ways with likely more to come. Street Food Cinema kicked off a screening series in June that has featured one film per month. It wraps this weekend with Little Miss Sunshine at the Autry Museum of the American West in Griffith Park. Picturehouse in the U.K. is rolling out a “This Is Searchlight” screening series by showing high-profile releases including The Shape of Water, The Fully Monty, Little Miss Sunshine, The Grand Budapest Hotel, Nomadland and more.
