Eric Kripke, head writer and creator of The Boys, took to social media ahead of the release of season four in June to let fans know that season five has the go-ahead.

Will There Be a Season Five of The Boys?
Yes. The Boys was renewed for season five at Prime Video in June.
Sadly, season five will be the final chapter in the story, Eric Kripke announced via X (formerly known as Twitter) in June, where he said he was "Thrilled to bring the story to a gory, epic, moist climax."

When Is The Boys Season Five Coming?
A release date for season five of The Boys is yet to be confirmed.
However, the series has made a habit out of making fans wait an agonizing two years between seasons.
Season one hit Prime Video in 2019, season two in 2020, season three in 2022, and – most recently – season four in 2024. So it may be 2026 before fans get to see what happens next.
