See the 'AGT' Golden Buzzer Act That Won Over the Judges With Their Bodies and Their Brains
Just when you think the dancing on America’s Got Talent can't get any better, it does. This season already, we have two Golden Buzzer acts that are dance troupes and they are 180 degrees different from each other in originality and performance.
The first is Legion, an Argentinian Malambo dance troupe, who literally set their feet on fire when they took the AGT stage. It was awarded a Golden Buzzer by Sofia Vergara.
It was joined tonight by Australian dance troupe Brent Street, which featured 17-year-old Zach from Sydney Australia, who said, “This is what I do. I don’t have a Plan B. AGT means the world to me.”
Luckily, he may not need a Plan B because after the lights went down and the performance began, it mesmerized the audience and captivated the judges.

“On, my gosh,” Heidi Klum said. “That was so exciting. You came with more friends of yours from Australia, I’m assuming. Hello everyone. This was a very, very, very exciting dance. Beautiful. It was something we haven’t seen before. Really entertaining. Very well done.”
Sofia agreed, saying, “We see a lot of dancing. That is my favorite part of being a judge on AGT is to be able to watch dancers, to be able to see what humans can do with their bodies. The beginning was spectacular, and the rest was as good as the beginning. That was for sure the coolest thing I’ve seen today.”
And for Simon Cowell, it was more than just the dance, it was the planning that had gone into the choreography.
“Apart from what they were doing with their bodies, it was what they were doing with their brains, because this was such a well-thought out, creative original,” he said. “Even though there were a lot of you, it was almost like there was just one. I’m guessing this took months and months to prepare. And I could see just after how much it means to each one of you individually. That’s the kind of audition we love on this show.”

Then, surprisingly, Howie Mandel was a man of few words. He simply said, “I thought everything you did was amazing. It was a surprise.”
But he was a man of big deeds. He hit the Golden Buzzer putting Brent Street straight through to the Live Shows.
America’s Got Talent airs Tuesday nights at 8 p.m. ET/PT on NBC. Streams next day on Peacock.
