See the fallen heroes rise in new 'Avengers: Endgame' poster
Earlier this week Marvel Studios gave us a handy guide to who survived Thanos’s snap and who was dusted via a series of 32 incredibly meme-able character posters promoting the upcoming Avengers: Endgame. Today, we get our first hint that the “fallen” heroes will rise up again, thanks to the Chinese poster for the latest Marvel Cinematic Universe installment (above).
Tweeted out by Asad Ayaz, Disney’s president of marketing, the new poster assembles the living heroes (including the recently revealed Valkyrie and Wong) over the ghostly silhouettes of the (presumed) dead, with Thanos looming above them all.

The poster image differs from the U.S. version, which stirred controversy upon its release two weeks ago by omitting the name of Danai Gurira, the only black female among the group. Marvel quickly reissued the poster with her name added.

With less than a month to go before the film’s opening, Disney and Marvel are ramping up the hype machine. Expect even more in the coming days — and get it all right here.
Avengers: Endgame arrives in theaters at 12:01 a.m. on April 26. Purchase advance tickets on Fandango.
