See Inside Jamie Chung and Bryan Greenberg’s Gorgeous Wedding
Jamie Chung and Bryan Greenberg tied the knot in a storybook wedding back in October and now, thanks to the Spring 2016 issue of Martha Stewart Weddings magazine, we’re getting an inside look at the couple’s big day.
The former How to Make It in America actor popped the question during the Christmas/Hannukah season of 2013 in Jamie’s hometown of San Francisco.
The pair then decided to tie their wedding into another holiday and held a three-day celebration over Halloween weekend at El Capitan Canyon, a nature-chic resort near El Capitan State Beach outside of Santa Barbara, California.
The weekend commenced with a “Boos & Booze” bash where costumes were required on Halloween eve. Jamie told the magazine they “thought it would be a fun way to break the ice.”
On October 31, the duo exchanged non-denominational vows they’d written themselves at a sunny, afternoon ceremony on a hilltop. The neutral color palette for the wedding consisted of peach and pink – colors inspired by a photo of a sunset. Guests sipped on blood-orange margaritas during cocktail hour, and music at the reception was provided by Bryan’s musician friends. The couple had their first official dance as husband and wife to “All the Way Down,” performed by musician friend John Graney.
The next morning, everyone gathered for breakfast. Friends later enjoyed a wine tasting with the newlyweds at Dierberg Vineyard. Bryan and Jamie then headed to San Ysidro Ranch, where their buddies had sent them on a two-night mini-moon as a wedding present.
