Selena Gomez Gets Romantic in Rodarte, Zoe Salda?a Goes Sheer in Armani Privé and More for ‘Emilia Pérez’ Red Carpet Premiere at 2024 TIFF
The cast and creative team behind the forthcoming film “Emilia Pérez” hit the red carpet on Monday for the movie’s premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival. The film follows lawyer Rita, played by Zoe Salda?a, who receives a surprising offer to help a feared cartel boss disappear forever.

Selena Gomez
Gomez wore a custom look courtesy of Rodarte, inspired by the fall 2024 ready-to-wear collection. The black, sleeveless dress featured allover sequins with a peplum detail at the waist and rosette appliqué. Gomez completed the look with a pair of heels by Santoni and accessorized with jewelry courtesy of Tiffany & Co.
The “Only Murders in the Building” star’s hair was styled with a side part and long waves by Renato Campora, with classic makeup and a pop of red lip by artist Hung Vanngo. Gomez’s look was curated by stylist Erin Walsh.
Zoe Salda?a
Salda?a embraced the sheer red carpet trend in a gown by Armani Privé. The actress’ look featured allover, delicate jewel details and an ornate design on the bodice of the sleeveless dress. Salda?a accessorized her dress with Cartier jewelry.
Salda?a’s hair was styled in an updo evocative of old Hollywood by Mara Roszak. Her makeup was done by artist Vera Steimberg. Salda?a’s look was curated by stylist Petra Flannery.
Karla Sofía Gascón
Karla Sofía Gascón opted for a simple strapless black dress for her look at the “Emilia Pérez” premiere during the Toronto International Film Festival. The actress wore a Saint Laurent silk and velvet gown dress and accessorized with silver jewelry.
Edgar Ramírez
Edgar Ramírez also wore pieces by Saint Laurent. The actor’s look consisted of a tuxedo jacket in grain de poudre, a shirt in matte and shiny cassandre striped silk, straight tuxedo pants in grain de poudre and the Wyatt Chelsea boots in smooth leather.
The 2024 Toronto International Film Festival concludes Sunday. Films screening include “The Substance,” starring Demi Moore and Margaret Qualley, Sean Baker’s Palme d’Or-winning “Anora,” Nicole Kidman’s new film “Babygirl” and Francis Ford Coppola’s “Megalopolis,” among other titles.
