The “Emilia Pérez” star wore a draped, black cocktail dress from Oscar de La Renta‘s spring 2025 collection. The asymmetrical dress had a band of material across the top of the formfitting bodice, forming a sleeve from the shoulder to the elbow. The skirt had draping that gathered on one shorter side, while the other side extended into a longer skirt, creating an asymmetrical effect.

Gomez completed her ensemble with silver rings and sleek black pumps featuring asymmetrical detailing: a glossy strap crossing the vamp from the inside to the outside, connecting at the heel counter.

The “Only Murders in the Building” star was styled by Erin Walsh, who also works with celebrities like Elizabeth Banks and Anne Hathaway. Her shoulder-length hair was styled in loose waves, and her makeup was kept soft and smoky with a neutral eye and a pop of pink on the lips and cheeks.

Gomez founded the Rare Impact Fund in 2020 with the goal of raising $100 million in funds for youth mental health globally. Fellow guests included Billy Crudup, athlete Whitney Simmons and makeup influencer and entrepreneur Jackie Aina. The event also included performances by Karol G and Teddy Swims and a live auction to benefit the nonprofit’s mission.

For their spring 2025 collection, Oscar de la Renta’s co-creative directors, Laura Kim and Fernando Garcia, drew inspiration from roses. Rose motifs are prominent in both day and evening wear, with botanical influences evident in lace detailing and draped ensembles, like Gomez’s, where the delicate draping resembles rose petals.
