Serena and Venus Williams Pop in Tennis-green Dresses at Wyn Beauty Launch Party With Ashley Graham, Tayshia Adams and More
Serena Williams and a select group of distinguished guests celebrated in style on Wednesday at the Bathhouse Studios in New York for the launch of Williams’ new Wyn Beauty collection. The event featured select products from Wyn Beauty and a green-scape color palette evocative of the tennis balls the 23-time Grand Slam champion used to dominate.
Serena’s older sister, seven-time Grand Slam Champion and entrepreneur Venus Williams, posed for a few photos. The Williams sisters nearly coordinated in matching looks for the event. Ashley Graham, “The Bachelorette” alum Tayshia Adams and rising tennis star Alycia Parks were also among the guests.

New York’s Bathhouse Studios was decked out in a shade of tennis ball green, and featured lockers with Ulta Beauty bags hidden inside. Wyn Beauty is available in 680 Ulta stores and online.
“I love to win — winning is my life,” Williams told WWD’s Beauty Inc. in a recent profile. “Our chartreuse pays homage to the tennis ball, which kind of pays homage to championships, which pays homage to the idea of winning,” Williams continued. Williams has won 23 Grand Slam singles titles and 14 Grand Slam doubles titles.
Williams was in conversation with Ulta Beauty regarding a makeup line prior to the pandemic, working on the makeup collection for roughly six years. “We feel bullish about Wyn — for one, because it’s been in the making for a very long time, but also because of what Serena evokes for the consumer,” said Monica Arnaudo, chief merchandising officer at Ulta. “She’s very powerful; she’s probably the most recognized female athlete in the world, she’s empowering and she just happens to have always been passionate about beauty.”
Wyn Beauty’s products aim to serve up high-performance with affordability. Ultimately, it’s for anyone with an active lifestyle. “It could be someone who’s going to work for a 9-to-5; it could be me, a mom — it could be someone who works at home and is on Zoom meetings. Active doesn’t mean you have to win Grand Slams or Wimbledon trophies — which is OK, too, because — check,” said Williams.
Of the products featured in the collection, ranging from mascara to concealer, eye pencils and more, Williams describes her Wyn Beauty brand as such: “It’s those 10 items where, if you were on ‘Survivor’ and could only have 10 things in your makeup kit and you still want to look good because you’re going to be on camera — this is that.”
