WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins comments on the allegations against Vince McMahon.

On January 25, Janel Grant filed a lawsuit in which she alleged that Vince McMahon and John Laurinaitis engaged in sexual assault and sex trafficking of her. A spokesperson for McMahon stated that the lawsuit was replete with lies. McMahon denied the allegations but stepped down from WWE and TKO. He is now under federal investigation regarding the allegations Grant made.

Speaking on Maggie and Perloff, Seth Rollins was asked whether things would change in WWE without Vince McMahon in the picture, and he commented on the allegations.

“You know what, day-to-day, for us, it doesn’t,” Seth Rollins said. “We’re so far removed as talent from that stuff. It’s awful, it’s terrible. I hate it, it’s a disgusting situation. But we’re so far removed from it. When we get to work, it’s just like, how do we make the show the best possible show we can? Who are we out there with? What’s this promo gonna be, what’s this match gonna be? How do we entertain the fans?

“That’s really what our job is. That stuff, that’s personal stuff, that’s business stuff, and that’s so far above where we’re thinking, where our brains are at.”

Seth Rollins: We’rre Focused On Entertaining The Fans

Seth Rollins noted that the talent won’t be able to do anything that will impact the situation. He reiterated that it was awful, but the talent was focused on doing their jobs, which is to entertain the fans.

“We’re not gonna do anything that’s gonna impact any of that,” Seth Rollins said. “It’s an awful situation. We’re focused on what we do day-to-day, and it’s just like in any sort of other business structure, right. It’s awful, and you feel terrible, and you wish you could have seen it or done something, this and that.

“But at the end of the day, your job is your job, and that’s what we do. We show up and we try to give the people who pay [for] the tickets to come in the best possible show we can. That’s kind of our department.”

Janel Grant’s lawyer recently discussed the lawsuit against Vince McMahon. More information is available here.
