Sexyy Red Launches Lip Glosses Named After STDs, Bodily Fluids, And More
There’s no limits to where celebs will go for shock value – even if it’s selling products named after bodily fluids and sexually transmitted diseases.
On Monday (Aug. 19), Sexyy Red pretty much grossed social media out when she announced the official launch of her beauty brand, Northside Princess, and its first product. The risqué rapstress unveiled her lip gloss line with shocking names, including “Gonorrhea,” “Yellow Discharge,” “Sex On My Period” and others.
“New and improved @sexyyred_products is back better den eva!! introducing NORTHSIDE PRINCESS the brand @getnorthside,” she announced on Instagram. “My first product will b my lipgloss ?CoochieJuice ?Bootyh0leBrown ?Nut ?P*ssyholePink ?YellowDischarge ?Gonorrhea ?BlueBallz ?SexOnMyPeriod (fruit scented).”
Red — who’s no stranger to going viral — received a ton of backlash for the beauty brand’s first product, as many dubbed it straight up “disgusting.”
“You can be vulgar & risqué without being disgusting lmfaooo,” one person wrote. “NARS collection is a great example. Go back to the drawing board Sexyy cause this ain’t it pookie.”
Another person commented, “As a parent, this is beyond disappointing. How can you push this trash onto society, especially knowing that young kids look up to you? What happened to setting a positive example? This isn’t empowerment; it’s degrading. Our community deserves better than this nonsense.”

One person even took it as far as to say “I hate her,” as many others felt that the “Get It Sexyy” star could’ve made her lip gloss colors more appealing and marketable.
As of publication date, the Northside Princess lipgloss has not received a release date, but fans can sign up for updates here.

One thing is to make ratchet hoodrat music that slaps at the club or the party, I get that… it’s entertainment…
But literally “pussyhole pink” “bootyhole brown” “discharge yellow” this is the stuff that’s gonna be available at the store?

and just like that you made your brand a joke novelty that will be purchased once as an "lol" rather than a marketable brand. Y'all literally have Rihanna as a successful blue print and you did this.. yikes
