This fifth edition of Copa del Rave will take place at Evolve Project LA, an indoor events complex in Los Angeles’ Frogtown neighborhood. Happening from 3 to 7 p.m. PT, the 21+ event is free (with donations encouraged) and open to the public.
“We’re super proud to be celebrating the fifth edition of Copa del Rave, and a huge thanks to Adidas for their help this year,” Copa del Rave co-founders Alastair Duncan and Jonathan McDonald said in a joint statement. “There have been some epic goals and gaffs over the years, some money raised for great causes, and a lot of fun on the field. We may all be five years older, and a yard or two slower but we can’t wait to get back out there!”
The money raised this year will go to a charity of the winning team’s choice.
Over its past four iterations, Copa del Rave has raised more than $50,000 for charities including the L.A. Mission, MusiCares and Give a Beat. Capitol Music Group won the 2023 tournament, with past years featuring DJ players including Diplo, GG Magree, Wax Motif, The Chainsmokers, Totally Enormoux Extinct Dinosaurs and more.
