‘What We Do In The Shadows’ Final Season “One Of The Most Unique Endings” On TV Says Mark Proksch – Emmys Red Carpet
The sixth and final season of FX’s What We Do in the Shadows will have “one of the most unique endings that has been shown on TV ever,” exclaimed the series actor Mark Proksch tonight on the Emmys red carpet.
Teasing what we can expect, he said that his day-walking vampire, Colin Robinson, “gets into a lot of mischief this year with Lazlo.”

The actor added, “We are an odd couple, but it works out in the end for the comedy.”
“I hope in five years they do a movie with Colin Robinson and the rest of the cast, but I don’t know if that will be possible,” Proksch added.
What We Do in the Shadows is based on the 2014 feature film of the same name by Jemaine Clement and Taika Waititi. The series documents the nightly exploits of vampire roommates Nandor (Kayvan Novak), Laszlo (Matt Berry), Nadja (Natasia Demetriou) and Colin Robinson (Proksch) as they navigate the modern world of Staten Island with the help of their human familiar, Guillermo (Harvey Guillén).
Robinson is the type of guy who thrives in an office environment where small talk is plentiful and reply-all email chains abound. He died, but then an infant version of him clawed its way out of his corpse’s chest cavity. He grew back to full adulthood in just a few short months.
As far as any future for the vampire characters of What We Do in the Shadows, Proksch acknowledged that they “are already dead.”

Nandor himself spoke to Rosy Cordero in full tuxedo tonight on the Emmys red carpet as well. Talking about the final season, Nandor said, “a lot of exciting things and some stuff and more stuff and then the show kind of ends.”
Kayvan Novak confessed he has left the character behind: “I’m still rocking the fangs.”
“Nandor will live with me forever, for all eternity,” Novak said, “I’m trying to find new ways of continuing to play Nandor.”
