Shaquille O'Neal Flashdances His Way to Becoming a ‘Lip Sync Battle’ Champion

Shaquille O’Neal and Aisha Tyler squared off against each other on Lip Sync Battle. The former NBA All-Star managed to defeat the host of The Talk, but only by the narrowest of margins.

Tyler started with the old-school song “Basketball” by Kurtis Blow. For Tyler’s main performance she decided to gamble on the Lady Gaga song “Poker Face.” She did a wonderful job and even got the audience involved with a little crowd-surfing.

O’Neal started off his night by performing the B-52s’ hit song “Love Shack.” It was an appropriate choice for the big fella considering he said, “I love Shaq. He’s tall, sexy, and he got a lot of booty.” He followed up his opening act with a performance of “Maniac” that would’ve made Flashdance star Jennifer Beals proud.

In the end, O’Neal got the belt, but the bigger accomplishment was how his dancing made LL Cool J roll on the floor laughing.

Lip Sync Battle airs Thursdays at 10 p.m. on Spike.
