Sharon Stone Celebrates 'Big Day' for Son Laird as He Heads 'Off to University' in Utah — See the Photo!

Sharon Stone's second son is leaving the nest.

On Wednesday, Aug. 14, the actress, 66, shared of photo of her son Laird as she dropped him off at college in Utah, where the 19-year-old is studying medicine. On both Stone's feed and Story, Laird can be seen smiling big as he stands in front of a large banner that reads "U Belong" and holds up a "U" with his fingers.

"Big day @la1rds," the proud mom wrote in her caption. "Off to University ?? ??."

Stone is also a mom to son Roan, whom she welcomed through adoption in 2000 with her ex-husband Phil Bronstein. Following their split in 2004, she adopted her second son Laird Vonne in 2005, and third son, Quinn Kelly, 17, in 2006.

The mom of three has previously expressed her emotions surrounding her son's departure on her Instagram, sharing a sweet snap of the mother-son duo walking together in Italy last month. Stone wore a flowy printed dress and strolled arm-in-arm with her son, who wore an all-white outfit.

"Walking in the streets of Rome w my son before he leaves for pre med school ??," Stone wrote in her caption.

In May, the star shared snaps on her Instagram that showed Laird during his high school graduation. In the first picture, Stone flashed a bright smile as she wore a black and white ensemble consisting of a black and white jacket, a black cardigan with white kite detailing, white pants and matching white bag and shoes.

The actress stood next to Laird, who sported a brown graduation gown and matching graduation cap, which he wore with a black face mask as he placed his arm around his mom's shoulder.

“LAIRD VONNE STONE GRADUATION??,” Stone's caption read.
