Sarah Jessica Parker
Fashion maven Sarah Jessica Parker is no stranger going sheer on the NYCB red carpet, attending the event last year in a black Carolina Herrera dress with a voluminous tulle skirt. This year, the “And Just Like That” star dazzled in another off-the-shoulder tulle gown featuring sheer sleeves with shiny silver roses.
Sarita Choudhury
“And Just Like That” star Sarita Choudhury stunned in an alluring black lingerie-inspired gown. Sheer lace panels around the neckline and skirt of the dress flashed the actress’s décolletage and legs. She accessorized with gold heels.
Dianna Agron
Dianna Agron would have embraced the “Black Swan” with her layered black and white tulle dress. Her frock featured a crystal-embellished corset top and a flared skirt. She accessorized with black tulle gloves and heels.
India Bradley
NYCB Corps de Ballet dancer India Bradley went all-in on the sheer trend, wearing a transparent black slip dress, revealing her black underpants underneath. Sans accessories, she let her look do the talking.
Brynn Whitfield
“Real Housewives of New York” star Brynn Whitfield attended the gala in an elaborate fishtail gown. A see-through panel fell from Whitfield’s hips to just about her knee, and featured rope-like detailing.
Huma Abedin
Hillary Clinton’s former vice chair Huma Abedin showed off her flair for fashion with a sheer halter neck gown. The dress featured an elegantly beaded bodice and a pleated skirt. In her hand, she held an understated black clutch.
Gilbert Bolden III
New York City Ballet soloist Gilbert Bolden III took the sheer trend seriously, layering a plethora of translucent garb to create a dramatic, textural look. To top off the outfit, Bolden layered a floor-length feathered cape over the shoulders.
