Shelley Duvall’s Final Horror Movie The Forest Hills Gets Trailer
The trailer for The Forest Hills has been released, showing the late legendary actress Shelley Duvall in her final movie appearance before her death in July of this year. She was 75.
Serving as Duvall’s final movie, The Forest Hills also marked the actress’s return to acting over 20 years after taking a lengthy break. She was last seen on screen in 2002’s Manna From Heaven, a comedy film directed by Gabrielle and Maria Burton.
The actress is known for her performances in The Shining (1980), Popeye (1980), Time Bandits (1981), Frankenweenie (1984), Roxanne (1987), The Portrait of a Lady (1996), and more.
What happens in The Forest Hills trailer?
The blood-filled trailer for The Forest Hills opens with a man being chased by a beast in the forest. It then introduces Duvall’s chain-smoking character, who seems to be not an ordinary mother to her children.

Hailing from Dreznick Goldberg Production and Digital Thunderdome, the upcoming movie will center on a man who begins to experience extreme, “nightmarish visions” after a head trauma due to a hiking accident.
It also stars Chiko Mendez as Rico, Edward Furlong as Billy, Dee Wallace as Angela, Felissa Rose as Dr. Gonzales, Stacey Nelkin as Debbie, and Marianne Hagan as Jordana.
“Haunted by nightmares and dark secrets, Rico (Mendez) descends into madness in the Catskill Mountains. Fueled by fear and isolation, as well as struggling with a strained relationship with Mama (Duvall), Rico attempts to find solace in his friendship with Billy (Furlong), in an attempt to fight his demons,” the official synopsis reads.
The upcoming horror movie is directed, written, and produced by Scott Goldberg. The Forest Hills will be screened in select cinemas on Friday, October 4. You can check the film’s official website for availability.
