Shemar Moore Departs 'Criminal Minds' After 11 Seasons (Video)
Shemar Moore has left CBS’s Criminal Minds after 11 seasons, and he took the time to bid farewell to “baby girls, homies and fans” in a few videos accompanying the announcement.
“I have grown through Derek Morgan and through these years at Criminal Minds,” Moore said of his on-screen character in a statement. “I’ll miss it. I’ll miss Derek. I already do.”
Then for some reason he filmed a bunch of videos saying the same thing, just in a more heartfelt manner. And yes, Moore repeated his catchphrase “baby girl” numerous times.

“I’m excited and really nervous about the unknown,” he added in another clip, teasing his acting future. “But the way I live my life is I’ll never know unless I try.‘”
The actor’s SSA Derek Morgan resigned from the BAU on Wednesday’s episode, “A Beautiful Disaster.”
