Shiri Appleby, Yvette Nicole Brown Join Disney+ Basketball Dramedy ‘Big Shots’
David E. Kelley’s recently announced Disney+ series “Big Shots” has rounded out its main cast.
“UnReal” alum Shiri Appleby and “Community’s” Yvette Nicole Brown will join John Stamos in the series about a temperamental college basketball coach who, after getting fired from his job, ends up as a coach and teacher at an elite girls private high school.
Appleby will play Holly, the good-humored and down-to-earth assistant basketball coach, and Brown will play Sherilyn, the school’s no-nonsense dean. Richard Robicheaux, Sophia Mitri Schloss, Nell Verlaque, Tiana Le, Monique Green, Tisha Custodio and Cricket Wampler will also star.

The project, which has received a 10-episode straight-to-series order from the streamer, is produced by ABC Studios.
