Are DWTS’ Jenn Tran and Sasha Farber Dating? He Seemingly Confirms Their Relationship

One thing Dancing With the Stars fans love is chemistry between the pro and the star. It makes for a great partnership when the two click, but it also often stirs up dating rumors. Jenn Tran and Sasha Farber were paired together for DWTS Season 33 and fans noticed sparks right out of the gate.

Are Jenn Tran and Sasha Farber Dating From Dancing With the Stars?
Farber seemingly confirmed they are dating in a November 13 Instagram post. He shared a photo of them together, in which Tran had her arms wrapped around his neck, and captioned it, “Days like this make everything better!!!!” One fan commented, “After this post, I think there dating.” Reality star Snooki asked, “Is this the hard launch????”
The relationship rumors have been swirling for a while. Ahead of the Dancing With the Stars Season 33 premiere, fans started to chatter about Tran and Farber dating after the pro praised The Bachelorette star. On September 16, Farber wrote on Instagram: “Not enough words to say how proud I am of this girl right here , from day one you have been working sooooo hard, I’m so glad that we crossed paths and you came into my life!! LETSSSSS HAVE SOME FUN TOMORROW ??????” Judge Derek Hough also told Tran and Farber that he shipped them together during “Disney Night.”
On September 17, Tran took to Instagram to share a series of photos from the DWTS set. “I didn’t know I could laugh so hard till I met @sashafarber1 running through the airport at 6am. The past week has been a whirlwind and I couldn’t be more thankful for an amazing partner who lifts me up in every way. TONIGHT is truly a DREAM come true I CANT WAIT TO SHAKE MY LIL BOOTY W YOU let’s have some fun ????????????”
Following the speculation, Farber and Tran seemingly shut down rumors there was anything romantic between them in an interview with E! News. though they didn’t explicitly say yes or no. “We have so much fun together,” Tran said, while Farber echoed her response, saying, “We have a lot of fun together.”
Tran may have shot down rumors that she’s dating her Dancing With the Stars partner, but one clue had fans wondering if they had become romantic. They definitely have been having some flirty fun! In a September 22 TikTok video, the two hit up McDonald’s for some snacks.
“Babe, can I have some?” Farber asked Tran about her ice cream cone. When she responded, “No!,” he joked, “That’s so rude!” Tran replied, “It’s my cone. If you wanted a cone you should have ordered one.” He did, however, let Tran take a bite of his cheeseburger.
Fans immediately picked up on something Farber said in the video. “EXCUSE ME BABE?!” one TikTok user commented. Others wrote, “THERE IS some CHEMISTRY HERE” and “The chemistry is LOUD!! Obsessed with you two.”
Tran and Farber also sparked rumors they were dating when guest judge Gene Simmons called them a “steamy couple” in Week 4 of Dancing With the Stars. “Listen, he’s an icon. It’s rock ‘n’ roll night. It’s Hair Metal Night,” Farber told Us Weekly of Simmons’ comment. “And if you think icon, which icon would you think is bigger than Gene Simmons? No one. So to have him say that — I’ll take anything he says.”
Tran added, “I’ll take anything he says. Listen, I don’t listen to heavy metal, whatever this is. But I know Gene Simmons, and that’s just how amazing he is.”

The DWTS pair have also shared other flirty moments on social media, including Farber removing his shirt in one video and Tran using her teeth to remove an elbow-length glove and draping it over her partner in another clip.
In a September 16 report, The U.S. Sun shared more details about Tran’s current relationship status. The DWTS contestant indicated at the time that she and Farber weren’t romantically involved. “We go to lunch all the time, coffee all the time, we’re really good friends,” she explained. “He’s been really good through everything I’ve been through, so we’ve been leaning on each other.”
Farber finalized his divorce from his wife Emma Slater in May. Tran and her Bachelorette winner Devin Strader broke up when he ended their engagement in August via a phone call.
In a Reddit discussion about the Dancing With the Stars pair, one fan wrote, “For those of us who’ve been suspecting a possible season long showmance with Sasha and The Bachelorette Jenn, I hate to break it to you those rumors aren’t slowing down any time soon.”
Some fans agreed, with one saying it “makes good TV” and another remarking, “Honestly I think this is such a perfect couple for the show. Sasha has always given sweet vibes, I think he genuinely is just being a great friend. She’s gone through a lot.”
Other fans, however, didn’t notice anything romantic and thought they were just having some flirty fun. One DWTS fan commented, “Sasha is just being a supportive friend.” Another added, “I don’t see it amounting to anything, but a showmance. They know they have chemistry and they are going to use it.”
Tran was also spotted with Bachelorette third-place finalist Jonathon Johnson in LA and the two attended a September 13 event together.
She told U.S. Sun, “I’m very much single at the minute. “I’m enjoying my life, I’m taking a break from dating. I’m just focusing on myself for a while.” When asked about Johnson, she shared, “No comments on that. I’m just pouring my energy into myself. I have a lot going on at the moment.”
She also gave some insight into being paired with Farber. “I’m so happy I was partnered with Sasha,” Tran said. “I couldn’t imagine being partnered with anyone else, we’re like the same person and we have so much fun.”

Tran told The U.S. Sun that DWTS is something she’s wanted to do for a while. “It’s just such a feel-good show. It’s a show I’ve been watching since I was a kid,” she said. “So truly it’s been a dream come true for me, I’ve always wanted to learn how to dance.”
She continued, “I had a couple of meetings about it, but I didn’t think it was happening. I literally ran off stage at AFR [After The Final Rose] and was told in my dressing room that I’m going to be on Dancing With the Stars, it all happened very last minute but it’s very exciting and I couldn’t be more grateful.”
She teased, “I feel good, I’m excited” for the dance competition.
