In other news, co-creator Brett Goldstein (Ted Lasso) is set to guest-star in the forthcoming sophomore run. Details about Goldstein’s role are currently being kept under wraps, but during a 2023 interview in Variety‘s Actors on Actors series, he confirmed there had been “talk” with Shrinking‘s creative team about casting him as a Season 2 character.
“I’ll only do it if it’s a sexy part,” Goldstein joked to The White Lotus‘ Theo James, adding more seriously, “I don’t want to be there for the sake of — just ’cause I want to hang out with [the cast].”
