Single Parents’ Taran Killam to Recur on ABC’s High Potential as Kaitlin Olson’s Ex

Taran Killam, who appears in the pilot episode of ABC’s Kaitlin Olsen-led High Potential drama, has been upped to “major recurring role” status, Deadline reports.

Based on the French series Haut Potentiel Intellectuel (HPI), written by Drew Goddard (The Good Place) and starring It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia‘s Olson, High Potential follows Morgan, a single mom with an exceptional mind whose unconventional knack for solving crimes leads to an unusual and unstoppable partnership with the by-the-book, seasoned Detective Karadec (played by Graceland‘s Daniel Sunjata).

Killam, whose previous TV credits include ABC’s Single Parents sitcom and of course NBC’s Saturday Night Live, plays Mokiki Ludo — Morgan’s ex-husband and the father of their two kids.
