Skai Jackson Dodges Battery Arrest Questions, Answers “Fake” Ones Instead

In a TikTok livestream on Wednesday (Aug. 14), Skai Jackson avoided answering any questions about her recent domestic battery arrest, but answered “made up” questions.

After a fan asked her about the incident between her fiancé and her at Universal Studios, she disregarded the question and spoke about a new show she finished filming instead. Fans began screenshotting the Live and pointing out that none of the “questions” she answered were visible on the screen.

On the same day, Jackson posted on Instagram about her partnership with Cantu Beauty, but limited the comments section.

The 22-year-old was arrested for domestic battery following a fight with her boyfriend at Universal Studios in Los Angeles. According to TMZ, she pushed her bf more than once — someone whom she rarely shows on her social media pages. The couple is allegedly engaged and expecting a baby.

Security initially detained Jackson and her fiancé until law enforcement arrived and reviewed footage. After investigating, police put the Sheroes star in cuffs for a misdemeanor domestic battery charge. She was released hours later.

Jackson and her boyfriend reportedly denied that anything got physical between them to police.

Social media had much to say about the entire ordeal. “There should never be violence. Men are victims too. As a survivor gotta advocate awareness,” one person commented on The Neighborhood Talk’s Instagram. Another typed, “Damn police arrested her for a push… she was wrong but they [definitely] coulda had them to leave separately. Especially since she’s preggers.”
