Skims Celebrates Team USA at Olympic Games With Merch Pop-up in Paris, Sunisa Lee, Caeleb Dressel and More Model Looks in Campaign

Skims has joined the wave of brands showing their support to Team USA with exclusive product releases, activations and merchandise inspired by the Paris Olympics and Paralympics 2024. The Kim Kardashian-founded brand hosted its activation, the Team USA Welcome Experience, in Paris on Friday, where athletes and sports enthusiasts were able to get sleepwear, underwear and loungewear items from Skims and Team USA’s most recent collaboration.

The Welcome Experience was decorated with oversized ceremony medals hanging above podiums, with the Skims x Team USA capsule collection adorned on Olympic and Paralympic mannequins. The event welcomed Team USA athletes with a full collection of off-duty wear, gifted in an exclusive padded nylon travel bag.

Released in June, the Skims x Team USA collaboration features swimwear, shorts, bras, underwear, T-shirt dresses, terry robes and accessories. Prices range from $20 to $110.

To celebrate the collaboration, Skims released a patriotic campaign featuring Olympians and Paralympians such as swimmers Jessica Long and Caeleb Dressel, runner-soccer player Nick Mayhugh, gymnast Sunisa Lee and track and field sprinters Gabby Thomas and Fred Kerley.

This marked Skims’s third collaboration with Team USA. They both previously released capsule collections for Tokyo 2020 and Beijing 2022.

Paralympians will also join the Team USA Welcome Experience ahead of the Paralympic Games, which is scheduled to start on Aug. 28.

J.Crew, Barefoot Dreams, Kith, Lacoste, PacSun, Pandora, APL, Omega and Etam are some of the other brands that have embraced the Olympic spirit this season with thematic capsules.

The 2024 Paris Olympics, officially known as the Games of the XXXIII Olympiad, will take place through Aug. 11. This edition marks the centenary of the last time Paris hosted the Games in 1924.
