Slim Jxmmi Says He’ll “Slap The ‘Ay Bay Bay’ Out Of” Hurricane Chris Over Super Bowl LIX Rant

Slim Jxmmi and Hurricane Chris got into a rift after the latter expressed his thoughts about the ongoing debate over the Super Bowl LXI halftime show. The “Halle Berry” rapper shared a rant on Instagram on Monday (Sept. 9) where he doubled down on his stance that the “big companies” in the entertainment industry aren’t respecting Louisiana culture as they should, and the Rae Sremmurd rapper was quick to shut him down.

“Big company’s are attempting to erase our history and use us for a money play and they know how to turn us against one another by feeding a few and starving the rest we must demand respect or loose everything we love I’m not afraid to fight and stand up for what I believe in are you,” Chris captioned his IG video.

In the clip, he repeated his sentiments about 50 Cent not booking Louisiana legends for his Humor & Harmony Festival, which he then compared to the NFL selecting Kendrick Lamar for the 2025 halftime show over Lil Wayne. “Now you n**gas understand it, huh? Same sh*t that I was just saying 50 Cent did in Shreveport, now it’s happening in New Orleans on a bigger scale,” he said. “People like Master P come in on it, so now everybody understand? I just made this same f**king statement.”

Elsewhere in his video, Hurricane Chris waved the flag for his home state of Louisiana and demanded respect for their “Southern ways.” “It ain’t going down like that. We going back to that old f**king law. You n**gas stepping on turf gon’ do what you supposed to do, or you gon’ pack your sh*t up and get the f**k on,” he continued.

Jxmmi swiftly commented under the post, “BRUH! AINT NO WAY YOU STILL REACHING! [crying face emoji].”

The SR3MM artist then added fuel to the fire by reposting the exchange on his IG Story and writing, “I’ll slap the ‘ay bay bay’ out this n**ga.”

In related news, Hurricane Chris also previously got into a brief exchange with 50 Cent after he criticized some choices he made for the aforementioned festival he threw in Shreveport, La.

Chris said at the time, “You threw a motherf**king concert in Louisiana and didn’t book no Louisiana legends, didn’t put no bankroll in any Louisiana legends’ pockets, but you paid the police half a million dollars,” said Chris. “What kind of b*tch a** sh*t is that?…Shreveport had cheap a** land, he came and bought that sh*t.”

However, Fif was quick to fire back and aimed at Chris’ music, writing, “Hurricane Flex, boy ya sht is wack, the fvck you think you @fredobang,” he wrote. “Ya sht gets no play in my ride. LOL.” Hurricane Chris wound up walking back his sentiments during an interview on the local news a few days later.
