Will Smith, Martin Lawrence Are Back In Action In ‘Bad Boys: Ride Or Die’ Trailer
Martin Lawrence and Will Smith are back as Detective Mike Lowery and Marcus Miles Burnett in the official trailer for Bad Boys: Ride Or Die. As the fourth installment in the action movie franchise, the film finds the two leads back in Miami on a new mission.
The trailer, released by Sony on Tuesday (March 26), reveals the iconic duo is back in their groove. While navigating the intricacies of their personal lives, and their complex relationship with each other, the two crime fighters learn that their captain is being framed. Eventually, both are named suspects and are forced to take the fugitive route and clear their names.
The official synopsis reads as follows:
“This Summer, the world’s favorite Bad Boys are back with their iconic mix of edge-of-your-seat action and outrageous comedy but this time with a twist: Miami’s finest are now on the run.“
Bad Boys: Ride Or Die also stars Alexander Ludwig, Vanessa Hudgens, Eric Dane, Paola Nú?ez, Rhea Seehorn, Tasha Smith, and Ioan Gruffudd. Tiffany Haddish and Joe Pantoliano are also set to have roles in the feature film.
Due in theaters on June 7, 2024, the action-comedy is not yet rated. Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah who directed the third installment, Bad Boys for Life (2020). are back for the latest iteration. Additionally, Chris Bremner wrote the film with Smith, Jerry Bruckheimer, Chad Oman, and Doug Belgrad producing.
According to a social media post from Will Smith, the film completed production earlier this month.
“WRAPPED! Nothin’ but Magic every time I’m with my guy,” wrote the 55-year-old in the caption, sharing a photo of himself and his costar.
Barry Waldman, Mike Stenson, James Lassiter, Jon Mone, Chris Bremner, and Martin Lawrence are all credited as executive producers. Watch the trailer for Bad Boys: Ride Or Die above.
