SNL Adds Three Hilarious New Cast Members

SNL is about to get some fresh talent as it adds three hilarious new cast members.

These are Ashley Padilla, Emil Wakim and Jane Wickline. Meanwhile, a few weeks ahead of Saturday Night Live’s 50th anniversary, three members depart the show in Chloe Troast, Punkie Johnson and Molly Kearney.

The new cast members come from diverse backgrounds. Padilla was in improv sketch group the Groundlings, which has produced Will Ferrell, Kristen Wiig and Molly Shannon. She’s also guested on Curb Your Enthusiasm and Night Court.

Wakim is a stand-up who’s opened for Nikki Glaser and Hasan Minhaj, and has also featured on the Tonight Show for two years. Wickline was a cast member on the online sketch show Stapleview, and also has nearly one million followers on her popular TikTok channel.

That’s not all, though. While three SNL members get added and three depart, a further three existing members are getting promotions to the main cast. They are Marcello Hernández,Devon Walker, and Michael Longfellow.
