Saturday Night Live will kick off its historic 50th season with a five-episode run beginning on September 28th, 2024.
Fresh off her Best Actress win at last weekend’s Emmy Awards, Hacks star Jean Smart will host the season premiere of SNL on September 28th. Incredibly, this will be her first time hosting the show. She’ll be joined by musical guest Jelly Roll.
Comedian Bargatze, our 2023 Comedian of the Year, will host on October 5th alongside musical guest Coldplay.
The following week, October 12th, will see Ariana Grande host SNL for the second time. The Wicked star be joined by Stevie Nicks, who will appear as musical guest on the show for the first time since 1983.
Beetlejuice Beetlejuice star Michael Keaton will host SNL on October 19th with musical guest Billie Eilish.
On November 2nd, John Mulaney will return to Studio 8H to host SNL for a sixth time. He’ll be joined by pop superstar Chappell Roan, who will be making her debut as musical guest.
SNL will further commemorate its 50th anniversary with a three-hour special scheduled for February 16th, 2025. Additionally, a biographical film on the show’s first-ever episode, directed by Jason Reitman, which is set to open in theaters on October 11th, 2024.
