‘SNL’: Michael Keaton Sells Some Organic Halloween ‘Cookies’
With Halloween around the corner, Saturday Night Live host Michael Keaton played a baker prepping for the occasion by showing off some cookies that he claimed resembled the bloodshot eye of a zombie–despite many suggestions to the contrary.
Keaton, making his first SNL appearance since hosting the show’s 40th season in April 2015, showed two infomercial hosts (Mikey Day, Heidi Gardner) his creation, holding two of them up to the camera at chest height. From there, the innuendo flowed easily, with “MA-TV” popping up on the screen after Keaton emphasized how “soft and squishy” and “organic” they are.

One potential buyer called in with a question that had the all-smiles hosts dismayed: “Do those cookies come in different ethnicities?” One order of cookies, it turned out, had recently been ordered from Pelican Bay State Prison.
Later in the show, Keaton, the star of Beetlejuice Beetlejuice, took part in another Halloween-themed sketch, this time playing Beau, horror villain Michael Myers’ on-set choreographer.
Rather than encourage rigid and unhurried movements, he was a fan of Meyers (Day) showing off his dance moves, frustrating the film’s director (Andrew Dismukes).
